Rain Garden Mural Project

Community Mural Installation
The Rain Garden Mural Project transformed a series of concrete traffic barriers surrounding Trinity United Church of Christ’s rain garden into a permanent public art installation. Originally placed to protect the garden and prevent vehicles from entering the space, the barriers became an opportunity to replace a utilitarian streetscape with artwork celebrating nature, culture, and community. As lead artist and concept designer, I collaborated with five local artists to create a welcoming gateway that beautifies the corner while strengthening the neighborhood’s identity.
